Relief For Kenyans Traveling to USA as New Envoy Promises to Overhaul Operations

The elusive USA visa that was giving Kenyans of all cadres migraines will now be a complete thing of the past after the newly deployed envoy to Nairobi, Meg Whitman expressed her commitment to change the status quo, barely one week after she landed in the country taking the place of Kyle McCarter.

The 65 year old billionaire envoy acknowledged that the current long waiting periods that go beyond one year are frustrative and should be reconsidered expeditiously for the benefit of Kenyans eyeing to travel to America for whatever reasons.

“I am aware of the very long visa wait times that Kenyans are experiencing to get the document to the US. The situation is unacceptable and we need to fix it,” said Ms Whitman.

Expediting the visa process being top of her priorities, the envoy will closely engage with Consular staff and the entire Embassy to see how the issue can be address effectively.
