Kenya's self-made millionaire, Simon Kabu, is undoubtedly one of the country's most popular businesspersons. He is the founder and current Chief Executive Officer of Bonfire Adventures a well-established tour company.
It started in 2008 by Simon and Sarah Kabu. With only Ksh20,000, Bonfire Adventures was born. Never in his wildest dream did Simon think, that he would venture into tours and travel.
He was working at Unga Group Ltd, as a sales regional head when a young professionals group he was in. He and the woman who would be his wife, volunteered to organize the getaway, something that turned out to be a huge success.
With his able wife Sara and a couple of employees, Simon has managed and placed the company on a global scale successfully.
