The Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) was ranked the best Airport in Africa and 38th globally by the Air help worldwide ranking group in the 2018 AirHelp Annual Score ratings of the world’s best airlines and airports.

Running an international airport is no easy and the Kenya Airports Authority has managed to set and maintain standards that wow not only Kenyans but most foreigners who visit the country.
Just yesterday, KAA through their social media handles shared photos on the newly refurbished terminals 1B and C which serve thousands of travelers a day. “Thank you for being patient with us, we are almost there. A sneak peak of JKIA’s terminals 1B and C currently being refurbished,” read their tweet on their official Twitter handle.

The renovations began in January 2021 by China Jiangxi International Economic and Technical Cooperation (CJIC) which was contracted for the job. Many Kenyans are hopeful for great service once the terminals are launched.

The whole project is said to have cost approximately 963 Million Kenyan shillings.
