Easter Celebrated Indoors
This year's Easter celebration has been done indoors. Some faithfuls celebrated by praying at the door of worship centers. Others held mass online.
Unlike the normal days when faithfuls walk 18km stopping ten times to pray,it was not so this time. A few of them were seen walking on the road alone putting in place corona virus regulations.
Places of entertainment such as Uhuru park were also deserted. The sea waves were meeting the Sandy shore bare along the coastal region. The business persons had to charge Eve lower prices to the few clients who turned up as they put in mind the financial difficulties.
The hospitality industry did not also reap alot from the festivities. Unlike other years where they have 80% bookings in hotels, this time business was low. The scenario was due to the depressed mobility of people.
The clergies put out a Clarion call to all Kenyans to adhere to covid 19 protocols while making sure they reconnect with the Lord.
They further urged faithfuls to continue praying for the well being of the entire nation.
