There is outcry for online users after some major world websites and mobile applications go dark. Countless websites and mobile applications around the world have gone dark, throwing online users into panic.
Fastly which is a major content delivery network experienced widespread failure causing major delays on major websites and mobile applications. Fastly supports new sites and applications like CNN, New York Times and also provided content delivery to Spotify, Hulu, Twitch and many others.
This failure had raised complains online, with many people who depend on the internet to deliver important information facing difficulties. An online user has lamented that he was unable to deliver an application via what's app.
The outage also took down other major internet platforms and sites including Amazon and Target.
Although many attribute internet failure to problems of hacking and Cyber crimes, Fastly has confirmed that it was testing a service configuration that triggered the failure.
Internet failure usually causes panic, as many people depend on internet connection for absolutely many things.
