Getting over a million subscribers on YouTube is not an easy task. It required consistency and hardwork. In Kenya there are only two artists now who have reached a million subscribers.
At the top, with over 1.15 Million subscribers and over 286 million views is Otile Brown. Otile reached a million subscribers back in January 2022.
Bahati, the aspriring Mathare MP follows as he recently achieved a million subscribers on YouTube. Bahati joined YouTube on 2012 and recently he has over 176 million views.

Other artists with high number of YouTube subscribers( although less than a million) are: Willy Paul with over 937K subscribers, Sauti Sol with over 907k subscribers and Bahati's wife, Diana B follows with over 716k subscribers.
Question may arise whether YouTube subscribers are really that important. Artists with more YouTube subscribers tend to attract afvertisers attention as they have huge viewership.
