Over the years YouTube has gained popularity becoming the biggest employer and a reliable source of income to many people. As long as you meet the minimum requirements and your account is monetized.
In Kenya, some young men and women have mastered the art of making millions of dollars from YouTube. They have built a platform for themselves and others from scratch. Below are some of the young Kenyan YouTube millionaires:
1. The Trevors.

Eve Mungai and her boyfriend Trevor are popularly known as The Trevors. The duo has risen from rags to riches working on Youtube as online TV journalists. Recently the couple purchased a house in Kileleshwa (one of the richest neighbourhoods in Nairobi).
2. Thee Pluto

Robert Ndegwa Kamau, better known to many as Thee Pluto is a Kenyan entrepreneur and a Youtuber. The 20-year-old is a student at the Jomo Kenyatta University of Science and Technology. He is also the host of Thee Pluto Show which is a Youtube TV that tests couples loyalty to each other.
3. Azziad Nasenya

Azziad rose to ranks of fame last year after a video of her dancing went viral on social media. She embraced the opportunity that has propelled her success in the media industry. The 20-year-old journalism student does travel vlogs and is currently in Germany. She also visits celebrities and showcases their shoe collection on her show which is called Shoe Game With Azziad.
4. Crazy Kennar
Kennedy Odhiambo alias Crazy Kennar is famous for starting and managing Tales of the crazy Kennar comedy Youtube Channel. Kennar usually refers himself to as a content cartel for his hilarious comedy. The comedian has a team of four people with whom they act together. Recently Crazy Kennar and his team scooped three awards from Pulse Music Video Awards.
