The Deputy President William Ruto while launching the Kenya Kwanza Alliance manifesto at Kasarani in Nairobi has revealed how his government, if elected president, will work towards ensuring that there is free internet connectivity across the country.
DP William Ruto has stated that every home, every school, every shopping center which is connected to the Kenya Power and Lighting Company national grid, will be connected to free internet in 5 years. He stated that every Kenyan will have access to the internet.
"Every Kenyan will be connected to the internet with ease, we have almost every home and over 20,000 markets connected to electricity, and they will now be connected to the internet including schools." DP William Ruto stated.
The Deputy President William Ruto has stated that it is the time that Kenya moves into the digital space. DP Ruto has said that in the internet connectivity agenda, Kenya Kwanza intends to extend the fiber optic cables by 100,000 kilometers.
