The company announced they it will introduce NFT profiles and marketplace. Due to the rise of public interests in the Non-fungible tokens (NFTs), the company has decided to incomporate NFT merchandise and collectibles in the virtual world.
Since the creation of this unique collectibles is complex, Facebook announced it would help members create them and sell through their affiliated brands.
According to the Financial Times, "Meta is developing ways to create, display and sell NFTs on Facebook and Instagram. The company’s Novi wallet technology would power much of the supporting functionality."
"Instagram is reportedly testing a way to showcase NFTs, while Meta is also said to be discussing a marketplace that would help you buy or sell these digital collectibles," the post continued.
Many people have been benefiting from NFTs due to their high speculation of value. This digital collectibles have fetched a price of upto $100 million. Users of the Metaverse can take advantage of this rising technology to improve their financial status.
