Manchester United Maybe Forced To Play Away From Old Trafford

Manchester United's last champions league group stage match against Young Boys may not happen at Old Trafford as earlier planned.

According to the telegraph, the match is thrown in uncertainty of whether Swiss side Young Boys will travel to Old Trafford on December 8 due to the new Covid-19 Variant.

The report claims that European football governing body, UEFA are trying to find out whether Young Boys Squad will be forced to quarantine back in Switzerland for 10 days following the match in England. The report further stated that if elite sport guide doesn't apply then the original plan will be revised and a neutral country or even postponed if the venue cannot be found.

The plan will however act as a blow to new interim manager, Ralf Rangnick as he will have to wait on his first champions league game at Old Trafford. There will also be chaos regarding tickets and travel costs if the match venue was to be moved with just over a week to go.
