United Out of Carabao Cup
Man United were knocked out of the English Football League cup third round after the side failed to cruise past West Ham at the Old Trafford.
West Ham managed to win 1 - 0 in the mid week Carabao Cup third round fixture knocking out the Red Devils. Lanzini gave the lead for the visitors booking a place in the Round of 16.
On the side, Manchester United fans were bitter with the match official after the side were denied a penalty after forward Jesse Lingard fell in the penalty box after his shirt was held by West Ham's captain Mark Noble. The League Cup tournament lacks the services of Video Assistance Referee hence their was a challenge in confirming possible penalty.
