Belgium vs Italy
Belgium, the much-talked-about golden generation, will take on four-time world Champions Italy in this mouth-watering quarter final tie. Martinez’s men, the world’s highest-ranked side, head into this match on the back of an impressive run, with victories in all three group games and a 1-0 win against defending Champions, Portugal in the last 16. They will hope to continue that run as they are now three wins away from clinching a first major honor.
Meanwhile, Italy’s search for a first continental glory since 1968 will continue after seeing off Austria in the last 16. Mancini’s magic has been highly effective so far as the Azzurris have not lost a game since September 2018. Like Belgium, Italy have been one of the standout teams at Euro 2020. However, they will need to better their last 16 performance to get past the Red Devils. Based on the current form of the two teams, we predict goals from both sides.
Predictions: Both teams to score.
