Joseph Okumu is a Kenyan professional footballer who plays as a defender. Okumu was instrumental when Harambee Stars qualified for the African Cup of Nations in Cairo Egypt in the year 2019. He has also featured in almost every match Harambee Stars have played in recent years.
Okumu plays abroad in the Belgium Pro League First Division for KAA Gent. Since he joined the Belgium giants he has been instrumental as he has started in almost every match. At some point, he has scored crucial goals that have been helping his club.
According to Fred Arocho on his Facebook Page, Okumu's agent has reportedly confirmed that Arsenal has an interest in the defender.
