Football at the grassroot has arrays of challenges.

Most teams fully depend on well wishers and local politicians. This has led politicians taking advantage of the talents. Mps, Mca or even Governors prefer organizing local tournaments organized by few political allies with vested interests.

You find a sponsor avail 1.5 millions but you will find that the winner at the finals take home mere 30k, runners up 20, 1st runners up 10 and 2 nd runners up 5k. And 1.5 millions over.

Most teams are desperate to raise money for the upcoming fkf leagues so they are forced to participate in those tournaments. If you dare refuse to participate, county yourself out of next season token from the mweheshimiwa.

Some of teams which demand transparent from the tournaments organizers,they are locked out. To run a team require some investments and funding. For example if the team is participating in branch league:

1- a team need affiliation fees

2- a team need participation fees

3- a team need cards

4- MasterCard

5- 2000 Bob every match.

These monies are night mere for most of grassroot football.

Like now, there was a total of 32 teams which showed interest in participating in this season. But most of them haven't raised these monies
