The owners of Manchester United football club, the Glazer family are believed to seriously considering selling the club, according tof skysports news.
Over the period of 17 years since the family bought the club, it has been dominated by fan's protests and decline in performance.
The owners have never been in good relationship with the fans and the fans have for several times protested to have the club sold.
Sources report that investment bankers were being instructed by the club owners to advise on the process,which could include partial or full sale, or even a strategic partnership with the third parties
The last time Manchester United won the English Premier League was 2013 led by Sir Alex Ferguson, who retired after the end of that season.
since then, the club has declined in performance and has sacked a succession of managers in the aftermath of the retirement of Sir Alex Ferguson.
