No one ever thought that their would come a time when African players would outshine the rest of the world in Europe's top leagues.Today the likes of Egypt's Mohammed Salah and Senegal's Sadio Mane are leading goal scorers in the English premier league for Liverpool.Nigeria's Victor Osimhen is running the Serie A with nine goals for Napoli in 10 games across all competitions.Cameroon's Karl Toko is Ligue 1 and Lyon's leading goalscorer with 7 goals.Patson Daka from neighbours Namibia is the new hero at Leicester City after scoring four goals in a single game. Not the same can however be said about our Harambee stars players which makes us wonder what is really wrong. While the rest of African players are shining, ours are nowhere to be seen.Their poor forms at their respective clubs has extended to the national team where they are on an unending losing streak. The fact that we have better facilities compared to other African countries,we have no excuse whatsoever. It is time to up our game before we get forgotten from the world stage.
