Premier League

Bad news to Chelsea fans as their star striker suffers a muscle injury while playing for his nation.

The Belgium striker Romelu Lukaku will miss the Nations League third place play off against Italy in Turin on Sunday. This is after he suffered a muscular injury in their defeat game against the red devils commonly known as Belgium.

The 28-year-old scored Belgium's second goal and played the full 90 minutes in their 3-2 semi final defeat to France on Thursday. Lukaku had given Belgium a 2-0 lead at half time. The blues, who currently lead the Premier League table after the opening seven games, are next in action at Brentford on October 16.

This is a big blow to the London giants as of recent they have been depending on the player for the goals. Lukaku has not returned to England rather has remained in Belgium to undergo treatment. He is a doubt to face to play in their next game against Brentford until given permission by the medical staff.
