Agnes Tirop was the popular Olympian in Kenya from Elgeyo Marakwet ,Iten who hold a world record of 5000m champion.
The late Agnes Jebet Tirop will be buried Saturday in her parent's home in Nandi County.
The 2015 World Cross Country champion was found dead in his home in Iten, Elgeyo Marakwet County last week.
According to Athletics Kenya Central Rift Deputy Chairman Barnabas Kitilit, Tirop's body is expected to be examined on Tuesday.
“We are still shocked by the sudden death of our athlete in the Central Rift region. However, we are relieved and we are continuing with the preparations to give him a fair chance, ”said Kitilit.
The popular Athlete is suspected to have been murdered by her husband ,who was later arrested at Mombasa county where he was trying to escape outside the country .
There are some other suspects arrested , following the murder of Agnes Tirop and they will be moved to court to answer the charges .
In her burial on Saturday ,it has been revealed that Olympian Agnes Tirop's Burial cist will be KSh 5 million .
