Among the many footballers in action this weekend, here are some of our boys who have been making a name for themselves in the football world.
In England, Jonah Ayunga was given the opportunity to lead Morecombe's attacking line once more. Morecombe were playing Plymouth in a league 1 encounter that ended in a 1-1 draw. Ayunga only took 6 minutes to give Morecombe the lead, but Morecombe's lead was short-lived as Danny Mayor equalized for Plymouth 6 minutes later. The game was a close one that ended in a 1-1 tie.
Johanna Omondi's absence from Jonkopings has been a major blow to them in Sweden. Jonkopings have since lost their last two games, both of which Johanna has missed due to an injury sustained last week. Jonkopings suffered a 2-0 defeat to Orgryte this weekend. Without Johanna, Jonkopings is clearly weakened.
Still in Sweden, our boy Mohammed Katana of Vasalund is still looking for a win after a five-game losing streak. Vasalund lost to Vasteras again this weekend, leaving us to hope for the best for Katana's Vasteras.
