Newcastle United signs Eddie to Replace Steve Bruce

Days after Villarreal boss Unai Emery dismissed their interest, Newcastle United finally welcomes with joy former AFC Bournemouth coach Eddie Howe who sighns a contract that ends summer 2024.

"This is a wonderful opportunity, but there is also alot of work ahead of us and I am eager to get onto the training ground to start working with the players." He says in an exclusive interview today.

The new coach added that it is a great honour for him to become head coach of a club with the stature and history of Newcastle United and that it is a very proud day for him and his family.

Comparing to the previous season when Newcastle had a better season and finished 12th recording 12 wins, 9 draws and 17 loses; the club in the moment is 19th in the table with 0 wins, 5 draws and 6 loses. Best luck Howe as you begin your new journey.
