Goals Conceded by EPL Teams in UEFA Champions League This Season.

For every team to perform to its expected levels, it should superb in attacking and excellent in defending. Having been the highest rated league in Europe, English Premier League has four teams currently hunting for Europe's most precious title, EUFA Champions League. In this regard, either of them could easily be ushered this trophy in the long run.

Last season, there were two EPL sides that made it to the EUFA Champions League finals, Chelsea and Manchester City. The Blues beat the Citizens by a narrow 1-0 difference to be clinched the champions of Europe for the second time in history.

Considering the three matches played so far in the 2021/22 Champions League group stage fixtures, below is a rank of goals conceded by each EPL side.

Chelsea: So far, the Blues have played against Zenit StPetersberg, Juventus and Malmo. Only Juve beat Chelsea while the other two clashes ended in Chelsea's favor. Apparently, Chelsea have only conceded a single goal in the three matches, against Juventus. Definitely, Chelsea are absolutely solid defensively.

Liverpool: Though the Reds have won each of their three group stage fixtures so far, there defensive record is seriously wanting, never have they kept q cleansheet in the three. They conceded a brace against both Ac Milan and Atletico Madrid and allowed one goal scored by Porto. There tally of conceded goals rises up to 5 goals in 3 battles.

Manchester United: Just like Liverpool, the Red Devils have also had a poor backline that has conceded 5 goals in the three games played so far. Man United were dramatically thrashed 2-1 by Young Boys, won 2-1 over Villarreal before clashing Atalanta 3-2.

Manchester City: The Citizens have had the worst records defensively of all EPL sides. Man City have won 2 battles, lost one, scored 11 goals and conceded 6 times. Man City 6-3 Leipzig, PSG 2-0 Man City, Club Brugge 1-5 Man City.
