It's indeed an evening that has unfolded what many Kenyans did not expect or never wanted to hear. Almost everyone in the country has felt the impact of the pandemic of Covid 19. The ministry of health has now revealed that 20 people succumbed to Covid-19 over the past 24 hours. Relatively, from a sample size of five thousand six hundred and seventy three (5, 673), nine hundred and four if them turned positive. This gave rise to a positivity rate of 15.9%.
It's now observed that the rates have increased from 13.2% that was recorded on Wednesday, April 21. So disappointing! Kenyans now can't hold their fears against the pandemic as they have called for God to intervene and save them. A period of over one year is indeed enough to realize that the pandemic is a real threat to everything everyone.
Now that life is almost becoming hard for most Kenyans, the government should look forward to make plans of helping them as we all fight against the virus. Meanwhile, being safe makes your neighbour safe. We should therefore keep following the right measures.
