Qatar Coach Sanchez Breaks Silence After Being Kicked Out Of The World Cup

The host of this World Cup Qatar have been embarrassed after being the first team to be kicked out of the world cup. The team lost to Senegal 3-1 in their second group game. In the opening game, they were beaten by Ecuador 2-0. Even though it is devastating, the head coach remained optimistic.

As Standard Digital reports, Head coach Felix Sanchez tried to remained upbeat during the post-game press conference done today, saying "the World Cup will finish, but football continues."

To him, the boys played more or less of what they expected. That despite the fact that it was not easy for them to keep possession in the first half, they did it even in the second half. They even managed to score a goal from it. That they have to move on.

That they showed that they have potential to perform better. They did better than the game they first played.

Qatar will face runners-up of the 2010 South Africa World Cup, the Netherlands, in their final group game on Tuesday, opponents that Sanchez admitted that "will be tougher ones."
