Harambee Stars striker Michael Ogada Olunga continues to attract attention across especially in East Africa not only because of his soccer prowess, but also his simplicity.

Currently plying his trade with Al-Duhail in Qatar, Olunga has literally been a journey man in his career.

He has been to Spain, China, Sweden and Japan, not to forget here at home when he turned up for Thika United, Tusker FC and Gor Mahia respectively.

And wherever he has been, scoring goals has always been his mantra. The lanky forward joined Al-Duhail early this year, and is currently preparing alongside his teammates for the 2021/2022 Qatar topflight league set to kick off next month.

As Olunga gets ready for the new season, a section of his fans in Tanzania want him to join the Tanzanian league.

To be specific, they want him to join Yanga FC - one of the most popular teams in the Nation.

Via social media, the fans asked him to join Yanga. "Olunga njoo ucheze Yanga huku (Olunga come and join Yanga here)," said Tiago Silva Pulic.

"Come to Yanga," said Charlitto Tarimo. It is a matter of wait and see if the 27-year-old forward will one day join the Tanzanian league an play for Yanga.
