Liverpool plays Manchester United this Sunday at Anfield in the premier league clash with both clubs eyeing for the top spot on the table.
Besides it being a tough fixture and the hard one to predict, English football pundit Paul Merson has come up with his prediction on the Sunday game.
Merson has given United a narrow win of 1-0 in his prediction saying he sees a penalty the favour of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side who have the best record on winning penalties in the premier league so far.
Merson has revealed what is behind his prediction saying that United current form is the one that has pushed him to give them a win in the Sunday clash with The Reds.
The Daily Football News reports that Merson's prediction has been seconded with Manchester City Spanish coach Pep Guardiola.
Guardiola says that it will be a difficult time for Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp to come up with a win in this clash and so he expects United to win narrowly.
Manchester United are unbeaten on the road this season in the premier league winning 10 times and drawing once the best record so far in the premier league.
