Thibaut Nicolas Marc Courtois is a Belgian professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Spanish club Real Madrid and the Belgium national team and is considered by many, as one of the best goalkeepers in the world.
The former Racing Genk football club's goalkeeper's excellent performances at Estadio de la Cartuja in Spain, on Sunday night, helped his team to defeat Portugal with one goal in the round 16 of the UEFA Euro 2020.
A goal from Thorgan Hazard in the first half was enough to give the Belgium Red Devils a narrow victory over Portugal with 1:0 win, in last night's encounter. However, Courtois impressed many as he made a couple of saves and prevented the defending champions, Portugal from scoring.
Courtois' amazing performance made him to complete a successful dribble, meaning that he has completed more dribbles than the likes of; Timo Werner, Luke Shaw and David Alaba amongst others in the ongoing euro 2020 competition.
According to the stats released after Belgium versus Portugal match, it says;
"Thibaut Courtois completed a dribble against Portugal and he has now completed more dribbles at Euro 2020 than; Robin Gosens, Timo Werner, Luke Shaw, Ferran Torres, David Alaba, Thiago and Kyle Walker."
Thibaut Courtois is now looking forward to continue impressing with his outstanding performance for Belgium in their next game.
