As he begins his third month on loan at Stamford Bridge, Joao Felix outlined the distinctions between Chelsea and Atletico Madrid. The 23-year-old was hotly tipped to join Arsenal during the January transfer window, but after the Blues entered the picture, he decided against moving up north and chose to move to west London.
Felix revealed to ELEVEN that he was taken aback to hear Chelsea supporters chanting his name on his debut because he had never experienced this during his time at the Metropolitano Stadium. Diego Simeone, whose infamous defensive strategies constrained the Portuguese star's creative "freedom," made it difficult for him to demonstrate his talent.
Felix claimed, "Here at Chelsea, I had one after one game, whereas I didn't have one for the three years I spent at Atletico.". They (Blues supporters) have a funny chant for almost every player. ".
