Kenya's Sarah Achieng to Take on Puerto Rican Mellisa in Carnivore Friday Fight Night

Kenya's Commonwealth super lightweight champion Sarah Achieng' will clash against ex-World Boxing Council champion Melissa Hernandez of Puerto Rico in a 10-round battle at Carnivore Grounds in Nairobi on October 21.

Yet again the Kenya Professional Boxing Commission (KPBC) reported today that pro bout will put Kenya at the worldwide scene when the hits rule for a definitive award.

Declaring the impending sessions, KPBC chairman Reuben Ndolo said that the battle will be one more incredible experience for the Kenyan commonwealth champion.

In his most memorable public appearance since he was chosen the speaker of the Nairobi city county assembly, Ngondi said that the get together will try to help regulation that will uphold sports and the youth.

"I'm glad that my most memorable commitment has been at sports and explicitly enclosing which is Nairobi. We will push for good regulations, through the MCAs for the development of sports," Ngondi said.

Meanwhile, the ex- Makadara legislator thanked the bout sponsores for their support including; Maa Inns and Suites, Safarilink, Road Medical care and Homeboyz entertainment and Strong Stone promotions.
