Being one of the most followed football leagues in the world, English Premier League (EPL) brought lot's of excitement over the past weekend with a total of 10 matches on their lineup.The biggest match of the weekend was the clash between Liverpool and Manchester City which ended up with a 1-0 win for Liverpool.Below is a summary of results from the other matches:

After these results, a number of changes were observed in the EPL table.Liverpool rose upto the eighth position as Newcastle United rose upto sixth.Despite their loss, Manchester City remained second as Arsenal increased the gap ahead of them to four points.
