Tuchel might be forced to rest Mateo Kovacic and N'Golo Kante in the next Premier League match against Aston Villa. Tuchel has one most important against Manchester City UEFA cup finals and he can't risk losing these two players. These two players have been out due to injuries on several occasions this season. Mateo Kovacic missed the second leg of the UEFA Champions League semi-finals against Real Madrid. He also missed the Fa cup finals against Leicester City where they lost 1 -0.
On Tuesday night in the 2-1 win over Leicester City in the Premier League Tuchel was forced to take off Kante in the first half and replaced him with Mateo Kovacic. Considering that they have just returned from injuries Tuchel might opt to use them against Aston Villa so that he can give them enough time to recover as they wait to face Manchester City on 29th.
Tuchel does not have to risk this duo against Aston Villa. Chelsea has a good squad depth and they can still manage to win this match without the two players.
