Chelsea played their second group stage fixture against a tough opponent last night as RB Salzburg visited Stamford Bridge. The blues had already lost to Dinamo Zagreb in a first encounter of the group stage fixture in Champions League football last week.
However Graham Potter was at the dugout for his first ever and huge European night in his career. But unfortunately his team as well wasted a lot of chances to score. Until in the second half the summer signing Raheem Sterling opened the scores.
But after the visitors leveled the scores Raheem Sterling seem to had thoughts of going ahead to find the second goal for the home team. Unfortunately Graham Potter replaced him with the American star Pulisic. And Sterling didn't look happy to have then been substituted in the 84th minute.
The Daily Mail, "We all noticed, I don't know why he took Sterling off. He scored and you know he can maybe score another goal. It will be Interesting to see how (Graham Potter) deals with that tomorrow morning. Because (Raheem Sterling) didn't look happy. "Concluded Thierry Henry to CBS Sports.
