Manchester United have captured the signature of Ajax and Sao Paulo maestro Antony Santos today for a fee of £95m plus another 5m in add-ons, according to, Ajax and Man United agreed on the deal today after a week of rejected bids but close sources say Antony -who had refused to train with the team earlier to force his move, had already done his medicals at Carrington even before the deal was agreed.

Antony, 22, who plays as a winger for Ajax and the Brazillian national team, was born in Osasco, Sao Paulo in Brazil, where he started his career with the Sao Paulo academy before joining Ajax where he helped them win KBVG accolade under the current United Manager Erik Ten Hag.

Antony's signature comes after United top target and Barcelona star, Frenkie De Jong's signature hits the rocks, the want-away midfielder refused to part ways with Barcelona or cut his salary to accommodate the Catalan's news signings the likes of Robert Lewandowski.

Antony will join his former Ajax teammate Lisandro Martinez, 22, who joined United last month, Tyrell Malacia, 23, from Feyenoord, Casemiro, 30, from Real Madrid, and Christian Ericksen from Brentford.

Rumors also show that United are in pursuit of Newcastle Goalkeeper Martin Dubravka, to cover for their loaned second-choice goalkeeper Dean Henderson who is playing for the newly promoted team, Nottingham Forest
