Welcome my dear readers to my daily news updates.
Today was the happiest day for Kenyans after Eliud Kipchoge raised Kenya's flag high in Berlin Marathon in Germany. Kipchoge broke his earlier record of 2:01:39 after he ran for 2:01:09. His win sparked several congratulatory messages from prominent leaders in the country. Those who praised Kipchoge include former Prime Minister Raila Amollo Odinga, President William Samoei Ruto, and his wife Rachel Ruto.
A few minutes ago, the former Harambee Stars captain Dennis Oliech has joined Kenyans in congratulating Kipchoge. On his Facebook Page, he called Kipchoge a great patriot for breaking the world record.
In my view, it will be good if the government decided to support all talents in our country. This is because there seems to be a huge reservoir of talent when it comes to athletics.
What is your take on this matter, my dear readers? Just leave a comment down here.
