Chelsea’s Under 23 registered a crucial win over league rivals Liverpool in a 7 goal thriller. The game was very physical as both sides each earned a red card and were reduced to ten men. Liverpool were the first one to score but Chelsea netted two quick goals to secure a comeback in the first half.
In the second half, Liverpool turned the tables and completed a comeback but Chelsea quickly leveled the game. During stoppage time of the second half, Max Grinder headed in a thunderbolt cross to ensure Chelsea’s win and assuringly secure the three points. Both coaches hailed the performance of their teams since the players showed a lot of commitment and team spirit.
Chelsea Women FC striker Drew Spence revealed that Paris Saint Germaine and Barcelona once tried to lure her with €2 Million to leave Chelsea in the summer transfer window but she refused to hold talks with them claiming that her loyalty lied with Chelsea.
