Murkomen, Orengo, Khalwale, The UoN Send These Powerful Congratulatory Messages To Omanyala

Ferdinand Omurwa Omanyala who broke the first record on Saturday 31 July as the first Kenyan to reach the semi finals of the 100m men's race in the Olympics has again been showered with praises in Kenya after breaking the second record of being the first Kenyan to reach the finals of the race. Citizen TV Kenya has confirmed that Omanyala used 10.00 seconds to finish the race and reached the finals in the ongoing Olympics in Tokyo Japan.

Elgeyo Marakwet senator Kipchumba Murkomen, former Kakamega senator Bonny Khalwale, Siaya Senator James Orengo and the University of Nairobi have taken the lead in sending powerful congratulatory messages to Omanyala after his success.

"Well done Ferdinand Omurwa. I really hope goes through. 10s is no mean feat. Praying" Murkomen has twitted.

"Congratulations Omanyala. You have made us proud. Your grandmother Baleya's family in Musali Malinya and your mother Adelaide's family in Musali Shikokho prayed for you the whole of last night," Khalwale has said in a tweet.

The University of Nairobi where Ferdinand Omanyala is taking his higher education from has also sent congratulations to him saying," we are proud of you Omanyala."
