The Kenya Rugby 7s took their woes to Twitter asking Kenyans for monetary donations to fund their operations.

The Kenya Rugby 7s asked Kenyans for donations to get funds to be able to represent the country in two competitions abroad.
The Kenya Rugby 7s players resorted to raising funds to settle their pending bills as a result of delayed salaries prompting an uproar from Kenyans calling on prompt action.
Sports CS Ababu Namwamba has bowed to pressure and broken his silence on the woes of the Kenya Rugby 7s.
In his remarks, CS Namwamba has stated that he is handling the challenge the rugby team is facing.
He has added that he will have something to report to Kenyans on rugby as soon as he is fone handling the situation.

"I am handling the challenges the rugby team is facing. I will have something to report to you on rugby soon ," Ababu Namwamba, Youth Affairs, Sports & the Arts CS said.
