Former Chelsea Star Who Has Been The Most Difficult To Replace At Stamford Bridge

Most of the best players who have ever played in the English Premier League have played for big sides in England like Manchester United, Chelsea, Manchester City, Liverpool and Arsenal. These players had a successful spell in England and ended up as some of the greatest players to play in England.

Some of the greatest and most successful players in the Premier League include Thierry Henry, Wayne Rooney, Ryan Giggs, Didier Drogba, Sergio Aguero, David Silva, Frank Lampard, Eden Hazard among others. All these players won big trophies for their respective teams.

They started being successful in the 2000s which resulted in them becoming one of the big Premier League clubs. The west London side is the champions of Europe to become the third most successful team from England to win most Champions League titles. Great players Eden Hazard, Didier Drogba, Frank Lampard, and John Terry have all contributed to the great success of the Blues.

Among these star players one player who Chelsea is yet to replace and has been difficult to replace Belgium forward Eden Hazard. The 29-year-old star who plays for Real Madrid played at Stamford Bridge for seven years scored 85 league goals in 245 appearances.

Hazard was the main player for Chelsea in the last few years especially after the departure of Didier Drogba and Frank Lampard. He won the Premier League title twice, the UEFA Europa League, one FA Cup, and EFL Cup.

The Blues have made several signings hoping they could be the best replacement for Hazard but they have all failed. Last year they brought in Hakim Ziyech, Kai Havertz and Timo Werner.

Christian Pulisic who came a year earlier but they did not prove to be the best replacement for the Belgium international. They are yet to have a good player in attack who can be saving the team every week and help them in their bid to win the Premier League.
