Onyango Features Against Arsenal, as Mayaka Shines in the USL, Plus Magnus Clocks 90 in Finland

Kenyan footballers will never shy away from representing their country, and the most recent football talents who have been at it this weekend are Onyango, Magnus, and Mayaka.

Everton's Tyler Onyango was in action in the English Premier League 2 against Arsenal's U23. In that match, 18-year-old Onyango held down the midfield until he was substituted in the 82nd minute in a 4-0 loss for Everton. Folarin Balogun, Salah M'Hands, Ryan Alebiosu, and Zack Swanson scored for Arsenal.

In the Finnish top flight, our boy Magnus Breitenmoser was also in action for AC Oulu's barren draw against Lahti. Magnus' dependability allowed him to play the entire 90-minute game.

In other news, our boy Phil Mayaka played in this weekend's Switchbacks match against Real Monarchs. Mayaka was on the field for the first 62 minutes of the game, which ended in a 1-1 tie. Julio Benitez scored for the Switchbacks in the 13th minute, while Kyle Adams equalized for the Monarchs in the 47th minute.
