Conte To Manchester United? Details Finally Revealed

Antonio Conte is interested in becoming Manchester United's manager, but he has concerns about the club's structure.

Conte is out of job after leaving Inter Milan, and he has conducted talks with Tottenham about replacing Jose Mourinho this summer.

The 52-year-old had not seen United as a likely destination for his next job, but the club's poor run, reinforced by a 5-0 home hammering by Liverpool, has put manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer on the verge of losing his job.

Conte, according to sources, would want assurances from United about the club's direction and would not be interested in having'marketable' players thrust upon him.

United's decision-making at the executive level is also in doubt as executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward serves out his notice. United has yet to specify when Woodward would quit or who will succeed him after the Super League plan collapsed in April.

Woodward was in charge of appointing Solskjaer, Jose Mourinho, and Louis van Gaal as managers, and has been chastised by Mourinho and Van Gaal.

To be clear about Antonio Conte. He’s never been a fan of joining clubs during the season as it’s not in his style - the only club right now that could change Antonio's mind is Manchester United.

Still no official talks. Depends of Solskjær situation - matter of respect.
