He tweeted saying; "Congratulations to our Athletes on their sterling performance at the #WorldAthleticsU20 Championships successfully hosted in Kasarani. The 🇰🇪 team grabbed a massive haul that includes 8 Gold Medals to emerge top of the table. Our youth have shown great promise. Well done!"
Many leaders have congratulated our national team. The dp twitted saying; "It rained gold today! Hongera Amos Serem, Purity Chepkirui and Emmanuel Wanyonyi for winning Gold in the 3000M steeplechase, 1500M and 800M race. Well in Simon Koech, Winnie Jemutai and Noah Kibet for bringing home Bronze. You are our heroes."
His evening congratulatory message to the Kenyan team under twenties, comes a few days after a completion of Tokyo olympics. There has been Olympics going on at the Kasarani stadium and our very own youths have done us so proud. And as Opera News Hub family we say; WELL DONE!
