The Senegalese professional football ball is believed to have touched down in London ahead of his medical plan before completing his transfer to the blues side. He is believed that after the deal has gone through he will fly to the United States of America to join the rest of the team for the preseason.
As reported by Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea and Napoli have signed paperwork for Kalidou Koulibaly for €40m. After all contract situation is completed, he will be the second signing of the blues after Raheem Sterling. He will then fly to Los Angeles.
It is said that the center-back was not on the top of the priority for the club yet now is on the verge of joining the London-based team.
The Senegalese defender who made a 263 club appearance for Napoli and netted 13 times will be now bidding goodbye to the Napoli fans whom he became a favorite for.
The defender will bring with him the experience he has gathered in the defense for the blues side. His physicality, pace, strength, and confidence with the ball will form a great partnership with Thiago Silva.
