Manchester United fans have not been happy concerning latest transfer news. This is after the red devils were once again overtaken by arch rivals Liverpool in the race for Netherlands top winger,Cody Gakpo.
The player had been heavily linked with United with a move failing to materialize in the last minute during the last summer transfer window. Klopp's Liverpool acted fast and completed the deal today.
In a transfer that has also attracted a competition, both English clubs have been linked with moves to sign Argentine top midfielder Enzo Fernandez. United view him as a top player who can fill in the gap left by Paul Pogba who left in the summer. Liverpool are also eyeing the the talented worldcup winner with Klopp keen in bolstering his midfield.
However, latest reports indicate that Manchester United are currently leading the race to sign the player. The player's agent is already in Portugal to facilitate move in case a transfer agreement is reached.
