Bad News To Manchester United Ahead Of The Manchester Derby This Weekend

Manchester United will host foes Manchester city at Old Trafford in what is expected to be a crunch Manchester derby this Sunday, as both sides will be looking forward to grab all the three points inorder to keep their title race hopes alive.

Speaking in a press conference ahead of the derby, gaffer Erik Ten Hag, has confirmed that Dutch midfield maestro Donny Van De Beek will be sidelined for the rest of the season due to a nasty injury he suffered during the Red Devils 3-0 win against Bournemouth a few days ago.

This is a major blow to the the former Ajax star who was supposed to prove himself to his former boss Ten Hag this campaign, having failed to establish himself as a regular starter since his arrival at the Theatre of Dreams.

The Dutch tactician also confirmed that Diogo Dalot will miss the derby this weekend after he was withdrawn from United's 3-0 victory against Charlton in the FA Cup in midweek, due to injury, while he will make a decision about the availability of forward Antony Martial tomorrow morning, despite the French star taking part in training.
