Manchester United went down early against Westham United in their clash on Wednesday night. The two teams were set for their second match in a span of one week after having played to a 2:1 win at the weekend courtesy of Jesse Lingard late goal and David De Gea penalty save to gift ManU all the three points.
One incident in the first half seemed to not excite ManU fans as they wondered why VAR seemed to go against them this season.A number of decisions have been against them even in the last match.
As seen above, the player from Westham seemed to have held Jesse Lingard by the shirt and brought him down. The ball also looked like it hit his hand.
The decision however was that there was no penalty against Westham.Especially in a Manchester United team that has been used to being favored by the Video Assistant Referee, this seems to be a very long season ahead.
The match was 1:0 in favor of Westham at the time of publishing.
