Chelsea Line Up That Could Get Thomas Tuchel's Side Back To Winning Ways This Weekend (opinion)

The blues have had a bad start to the new season so far, with key players out injured, facing suspensions and recently Reece James missed the midweek match due to illness.

The West London outfits have only managed seven points from a possible fifteen points in the opening five matches this season.

Thomas Tuchel's side lost the midweek match against Southampton in a game that they went a goal through Raheem Sterling only to let the saints score two successive goals to take all three points. However the blues could return to winning ways this weekend if Thomas Tuchel was to line up the following players.

Thomas Tuchel could choose to play Thiago Silva, Cesar Azpilicueta and Kalidou Koulibaly in his preferred back three with Edouard Mendy retaining his goalkeeping role.

If Reece James is still out ill, then Ruben Loftus-Cheek could take up his right wing back position while in form Marc Cucurella could retain his left wing back position.

Kovacic played 45 minutes in the midweek match and looked okay at full time and should therefore start alongside Jorginho if Chelsea's midfield is to cope up with West Ham's press.

Thomas Tuchel should drop Kai Havertz and start Armando Broja because of how impressive he looked when he came on and let him lead the lines with Raheem Sterling and Mason Mount on either sides of the forward line.

Wesley Fofana hasn't had much training with the blues and could come off the bench to get his Chelsea debut if he is to play this weekend.
