Braga have been in fine form in recent weeks, winning four of their last six games, climbing to third place in the league although they are still nine points behind leaders Sporting. They’ll be looking to pick up another win here in a match that they enter as heavy favourites.

Portimonense have had a poor season so far, winning just four times and sitting one point above the relegation places. They’ve not been able to improve in recent weeks either, losing three of their last six games and slipping further into a relegation scrap.

It’s hard to see Portimonense coming away from this game with any points, such is the strength of the Braga side. The match could be a little close than their records would suggest though with Braga conceding an average of a goal a game in the past six weeks and Portimonense conceding nine times in their last six.
