Manchester City new signing Erling Haaland has revealed why he decided to join the Manchester club ahead of the Spanish giants Real Madrid who were interested in the Norwegian international as they were on the market looking for a young striker.
According to Haaland, Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola previous work is what influenced him to join the club. He says the Spanish boss knows how to develop players and he is confident with him as manager, he has a chance to become a player he wants to be in the next years.
The former Borussia Dortmund boss admitted that Guardiola didn't sell him his project the wait it was early though as he claims he is best trainer for him and he will help him as a player.
This comes at a time when the Norwegian was also a target for Manchester United but lack of agreeing fee with Dortmund resulted to the collapse of the deal. Ours is now to wait and see how he will perform this season I'm City's shirt.
