Kenya U23 Side Qualify For Cecafa Semi-Finals After Beating South Sudan Today

Kenya U23 side has continued with its perfect form in the ongoing Cecafa U23 Championships taking place in Ethiopia.

Emerging stars posted another win this evening - beating South Sudan 2-0. The goals were scored in the second half with Reagan Otieno giving Kenya an early second half win in the 51st minute. Supersub Benson Omala who plays for Gor Mahia made it 2-0 in the 73rd minute, sealing Emerging Stars' win.

Kenya who are pooled together with South Sudan and Djibouti have won their two matches after beating Djibouti 3-0 in their opening match three days ago. The three goals were courtesy of Benson Omala, an own goal and John Njuguna.

Gor Mahia's forward Benson Omala has netted his second goal of the tournament despite coming from the bench asTusker's Henry Meja starts.

Emerging Stars will now meet Group B winner in the semi final stage.
