Man Utd: Lingard's New Hope, Fans Anticipate Greenwood's Return, Diallo's Transfer Plans

Amad Diallo

One of the fringe players that has been overlooked in the Manchester United squad is Amad Diallo who has barely played a minute this season. Although he suffered a long injury at the start of the season, his recent fitness levels have been high but he is still being benched for reasons best known to the technical bench. Because of this, rumors have been making bouts online linking the youngster to a potential loan transfer in January.

During the last summer window, Diallo was only a medical test away from joining Dutch club Feyenoord when his injury cut short his transfer process. In January however, it is almost certain that he will leave until the end of the season since a number of unnamed clubs have already made their interest in the player known to Manchester United’s representatives.

Jesse Lingard

Jesse Lingard now has a reason to smile because he potentially has a chance to get more gametime and maybe change his mind about leaving the club at the end of the season. Lingard was mostly used as a substitute during Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s era and this meant that he had to pick up the pieces from the starting eleven’s disaster-class performances. Lingard is a very prolific and adaptive attacker and the only way to make him more clinical and dangerous is by starting him and giving him more gametime.

Ragnick is a huge fan of passionate players and being that Lingard is one of them, it is only a matter of time until the 27-year-old becomes Ragnick’s favorite in the club. However, his formative club West Ham will most likely make a move on him in January and this will greatly hamper his prospects of being promoted into the Manchester United starting eleven.

Mason Greenwood

Mason Greenwood is still recuperating from his injury and fans are hoping that his return comes much sooner because the League’s fixtures are getting thicker as the season progresses. Greenwood was a wrecking ball during the start of the season and was a constant goal threat to opponents. With the fitness levels of some players expected to drop this month, Greenwood’s return could be a big boost to the team.
