A hat trick of wins came when she clocked 59.99 seconds, winning the 400m race.She said she is training hard and knows it won’t be easy at the national trials. Her dream is to represent Kenya at the World Under-20 Championships.
Athletics Kenya (AK) president Jackson Tuwei, was at the event and said that the federation seeks to select a very strong team. The team will represent the country at the global event. The event will be August 17-22 at the Moi International Sports Centre, Kasarani. He also added that South Rift has always selected a very strong team and from what I have seen today, they have very strong athletes who we will depend on to win gold medals for Kenya.
